Early Childhood Intervention

Our Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention program is designed to build the skills of young children, aged 1–9 years, with developmental delays or skills deficits. Each child receives a personalised learning and development plan that includes individualized goals and recommendations for ongoing support.

We offer play-based and structured learning programs that are tailored to the unique needs of the child and family. Structured, high-intensity programs are designed to build foundational skills across communication, behaviour, and learning domains.

6-Week Program

Behavioral Parent Training

HBS offers a 6-week capacity building parent training program that empowers parents with tools and strategies they need to transform their lives and create meaningful, lasting change in their child's life.

Customized to fit the needs of your family, parent training is more than a program — it's a partnership aimed at unlocking your child's potential. Utilizing evidence-based strategies in your everyday life not only brings about behavioral improvements in your child but also strengthens the emotional bond between you and your child.

During Weekly Sessions, Parents Learn

Therapeutic Supports

Our Therapeutic program is designed to build the skills of children, aged 9 years and above, with developmental delays or skills deficits. The program requires your Therapy Supervisor to work closely with you for the duration of the program.

Therapy sessions are typically held at home, school, or via telehealth. A personalised intervention plan is designed to improve communication, social, daily living skills and self-regulation skills.

Consultancy Service Model

Our Consultancy Service Model is designed to build the social and academic skills of children and adolescents, aged 2 years and older, with developmental delays or skills deficits.

Consultancy could entail everything from setting up your child's initial program, to assisting you with individual education plans or school observations. We work collaboratively with families, schools, childcare centres and support teams.

Services Include

  • School observations and consultation with schools
  • Program management and Behaviour Management
  • IEP meetings and preparation of objective goals
  • Parent, Independent Therapist, and Support Worker training

The frequency of consultation depends on a mutually agreed number of hours. Our goal is growing your child's autonomy and confidence, enabling them to become an effective learner.

Our Positive Behaviour Support Program is designed to understand and address your child's challenging behaviours. HBS is a registered NDIS provider, and our therapists are registered Behaviour Support Practitioners.
